_________________ ***************** MEOW Office Suite Release Notes ~o~ Version 1.7 _________________ ***************** ============ Introduction ============ MEOW stands for "Memorize Open Windows". It consist of of 4 Ms-Office add-ins and central graphical interface (CGI). MEOW CGI is used to install/uninstall individual addins. Each add-in reopens messages/documents/worksheets that were open during the last session when the session is ended via "Exit (Preserve Windows)" menu item/ribbon. =================== System Requirements =================== To use MEOW Office Suite you must have the following: • IBM PC or compatible. • Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7/8 and Office 2000/2/3/7/10/13. • Administrator privileges for the installation and registration. ============ Installation ============ To install MEOW Office Suite: 1. Download the installation program. 2. Exit running applications. 3. Click Windows Start button, select Run..., then click the "Browse" button. Browse to the folder where you saved the installation program. 4. Choose installation program file and click "OK". 5. Follow installation wizard steps, and read the description for every step. (Click the Next button to go on to the next step, or click the Back button to return to the previous step.) 6. Specify a folder in which to install MEOW Office Suite, then click Next. 7. MEOW Office Suite is installed in the destination directory. 8. The installer will offer to place a shortcut to MEOW Office Suite on your desktop and Quick Launch bar. 9. The installer will offer to start MEOW Office Suite - Central Graphical Interface. To install or uninstall individual addins: 1. Start MEOW Office Suite - Central Graphical Interface from the Windows Start Menu. 2. Close corresponding Office application (Outlook, Word, Access or Excel). 3. Toggle corresponding buttons on (to install the addin) or off (to uninstall the addin). 4. Close Central Graphical Interface. To uninstall MEOW Office Suite: 1. Close MEOW Office Suite Central Graphical Interface (if running), and any running Office application. 2. Click Windows start button, select Control Panel, then click "Programs and Features" (Vista/7) or "Add or Remove Programs" (XP). 3. Find and Select "MEOW Office Suite" from the list, and click "Remove". ============= Example Usage ============= • To reopen messages: 1. Start Outlook and open several received messages/start several new message. 2. Click "File/Exit (Preserve Message-Windows)" (for Outlook versions prior to 2013), or MEOW ribbon "Exit (Preserve Open Windows)" (for Outlook 2013). 3.
